Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (2024) - 5 Actors to Play Shadow the Hedgehog
After the successful release of Sonic 2, it’s good news for Sonic fans with Paramount Pictures confirming that a third movie will be hitting the theatres in the near future. And with the end of Sonic 2 leaving us with THAT huge post credit scene, we now know the film franchise will be giving it’s dedicated fanbase the chance to see one of their favourite characters on the big screen. Iconic character Shadow is set to make his debut in the movie’s sequel.
With the incredible standard set by the first 2 films, and a small insight into the third fans are already anticipating how visually pleasing it will be. But the question we’re all asking is, how will it sound? And who will be voicing the anthropomorphic hedgehog? Whilst we don’t have confirmation from Paramount on who is set to voice the anti-heroic hedgehog, we have some pretty good casting ideas.

The film stars Ben Schwartz reprising his role as the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog, alongside Idris Elba as Knuckles, Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik and Colleen O' Shaughnessey as Miles "Tails" Prower, with James Marsden and Tika Sumpter in the roles of Tom and Maddie Wachowski, and . The film follows Sonic and Knuckles as they attempt to destroy Robotnik's newest invention, The Death Egg, while Tails, Amy, Tom and Maddie scuffle with Metal Sonic.
