Ambient Eurorack Remix || Reprise
The foundation of this piece evolved from a sample I pulled off of a classical LP that I picked up from a local second hand shop. I used the Make Noise Morphagene to warp and manipulate the opening horn section from Beethoven’s Overture to ‘Fidelio’ , Op. 72. The crackle from the vinyl sample with the reverb creates an interesting subtle sonic texture. The rest of the composition was built up around that. The Intellijel Plonk supplied the lead synth voice and Mutable Instruments Rings added what sounds to me like some muted plucky electric guitar. The landscape footage was shot at Tunnel Beach in Dunedin, New Zealand.
