In this video we will see how to solve examples on limit of a function. When we have function of one variable then we simply find left hand limit and right hand limit. if they come out to be equal we say that the limit exist and if they come out to be different then we say that limit does not exist. But we cant say the same thing when we have function in more than one variable because in such a scenario we can approach a point in infinitely many ways.
So to prove that limit exist we need to go by epsilon delta method. But showing that a limit does not exist is not that difficult. We need to choose 2 paths and show limits are coming out to be different. HEnce limit does not exit. BEcause Limit of a function if exist is always unique.
