lyrics:
Break through the silence and tear out the seams
Make peace with the violence, turn whispers to screams
You can’t respect yourself
You make peace with no one else
I’ve walked this path before
It’s all so overwhelming
I’ve been
Running away from myself again
I’ll face my enemy
You suck like a leech
You steal the life from me
An eye for an eye
Is dogma that you preach
Just like a thief
You take the best of me
Now I can see that you’re my enemy
Oh!
The truth is hard to swallow
If you’re pretty ugly
I’m pretty ugly
I mean it’s one thing to cast stones at someone else
It’s something else entirely to take a look at yourself
If you hold up the mirror and see a devil within
Then I’m right there beside you, failing to swim
I’ve been
Running away from myself again
I’ll face my enemy
You suck like a leech
You steal the life from me
An eye for an eye
Is dogma that you preach
Just like a thief
You take the best of me
Now I can see that you’re my enemy
Enemy
You’re my enemy
