Final Fantasy IX is not only the greatest Final Fantasy game, it may be one of the best games ever made. This week, it celebrates its 20th anniversary and to celebrate this masterpiece, I've decided to take a look back, disc-by-disc, at what made this game so unforgettable and why it continues to draw fans back in again and again.
In this third part, Final Fantasy IX takes us to some otherworldly places and we finally get answers to many of the mysteries surrounding Zidane and his origins. There are also several opportunities to explore the vastness of the world and uncover some great side quests and secrets.

This is a project of love and passion. Final Fantasy IX is pure nostalgia for me and I played this game at such a transformative time in my life, that it is woven into my memories. Playing Final Fantasy IX is like going back in time for me and it's a game I revisit every year to feel the same feelings I did back in 2000. I hope you enjoy watching this series as much as I enjoyed making it.
