Piper Apache/Geronimo Flight from KFCM to KSYN (v2)
I was scheduled to tow gliders at KSYN so decided to take the Geronimo over...a 15 min. flight versus a 45 min. drive. It's your classic grass strip with lots of history. The main runway, 36/18 is 2,550 in length, with a displaced threshold on the 36 and a bisecting runway 27/09. N3285P is a PA-23-160 upgraded with the Geronimo STC for aerodynamic improvements and 180 hp engines which significantly improves performance. She's a great flying machine!
