OpenMediaVault is a neat software that takes over the Raspberry Pi's operating system to make it easier to set up and manage a NAS. With this software you can easily connect new drives, format them and set up shared folders.
With its built-in support for sharing services such as Samba and FTP, using this software can be a much easier solution for those who don't really like dealing with the terminal.
