The power of MICRO DYNAMICS: how it makes your phrasing more expressive.
Dynamics refers to how loud and how softly you can play a note, and also the points in between.
If we play everything with the same intensity, our playing will sound inexpressive. On the other hand, if we use different levels, we can make our playing sound a lot more musical.
As with the human voice when speaking, we can use dynamics to give more or less importance to certain notes (words) of whatever we play (say).
