DTS X Dolby atmos explained height speakers how to make your home theater the best it can be!
This is a video concerning the newest surround sound formats of object based surround sound and turning your home theater into a Dolby Atmos and DTS X immersive surround sound experience. Installing height speakers or channels is of utmost importance and is utilized mainly in the newer surround sound formats as opposed to object-oriented surround sound which would include DTS HD Master audio Dolby Digital Dolby true HD DTS Neo X as well as several others. One must have a receiver capable of decoding Dolby Atmos and DTS X and also install height channels in your ceiling and or wall. This is a nearly simple process either by utilizing a drill and screwing a screw into the wall and hanging speakers that way or by utilizing a speaker or wall mounting kit and then hanging them accordingly. I have included a channel placement or speaker placement video here which encompasses where your surround speakers should be placed and how you should set up your surround sound speakers. I always recommend using regular enclosure type speakers as opposed to in-ceiling speakers however in-ceiling speakers are usually the more common type in a traditional home theater.
