First run through after building another MIDI pedal. Takes a bit to get linked to the plugins but once done, it seems to work even after disconnected and exiting programs. Each pedal is built with an Arduino processor and uses USB-B mini to hook up to a Mac or PC. I originally used MIDI 5-pin which was easier to program and get linked to the system, but then I didn't want to have to buy or build a MIDI duplexer to connect multiple pedals to one input. I couldn't find the programming for MIDI duplexing in one Arduino, so USB was where it's at. The pedals were programmed for MIDI channel 3 and 5 so they can send the same set of CC messages without interrupting each other.
Problem one is that the USB devices are named the same so plugging them in to get set up is a trial and error. Plug one in, get it assigned, unplug the first and plug in the second one to get that assigned, and then the first can be plugged in. Not sure how that is going to work with more than two.
I have three Neural plugins I use, so this is the first jump into them. I have the two pedals set up for each program, each with their own layouts and such which makes building a pedal difficult to apply to all of them.
The Soldano plugin is the one I use the most lately, so my original intention was to build a full pedal board for that and work out from there.
The Cali plugin I don't turn the Zuul on/off or I didn't need control of that, just the Hexdrive and Grind on/off. I cheated and used the control pots on one pedal to control the single knob Zuul and Grind.
The Petrucci plugin will be the longest to get built since there's tons of pedals on this platform. For now it's the OD and the Reverb I'm controlling.
Second problem I have is that using the plugins through Reaper, I can't seem to get the MIDI control to work at all. I've tried several tests and trials but for some reason, it just doesn't work.

Video has no audio for some reason, but you get the idea.
