07 06 Installing Sod Like a Professional
This video covers professional tips for installing sod. If you plant sod, remove any stubble and till the soil so the roots have a loose soil to grow into. Lay it as soon after harvest as possible. Lay it in an overlapping pattern like brickwork. Butt the strips together tightly, but don’t stretch them. Don’t let them dry out, because in either case, they can shrink, leaving gaps between pieces.
