Animals' nightmare
This bull was nearly killed by its own horn, which grew directly into its skull. Horns are one of the most versatile body parts in the animal kingdom, used as a defense mechanism and even as a tool. But sometimes, the same body parts can injure or even kill an animal. Deformed horns in animals are rare. They can be due to a genetic imbalance, excessive hormone production due to old age, or can occur as a result of an injury in captivity. This can be prevented by trimming the deformed horn with an electric or wire saw. But unfortunately, when this happens in the wild, no one can intervene. The horn can slowly pierce the skull, penetrating deeper and deeper until death occurs.
