How do I record a voiceover?
To record a voiceover click on the mic located at the bottom left-hand side of the Toonly interface next to voiceover. The mic will turn red which will indicate that it is recording. Clicking on the mic again will stop the recording and you will know it is no longer recording because the mic will turn gray.
Note: You can record from specific sections in the timeline by moving the vertical orange line (shown in the recording below) to the position where you wish to start recording from.
Right-clicking on the voice recording in the timeline will bring up the sound settings options where you can remove the recording, playthrough and control the volume.
How can I import a voiceover recording?
To import a voiceover recording navigate to the "Audios" tab on the left-hand side of the Toonly interface. Then, go to "Upload New Sound" at the top where you can then, select the voiceover recording from your computer that you would like to import. You will be given the option to name the voiceover then, save and upload. The voice over will become available in your audios library where you can then, drag it into the voiceover row at the bottom of your video as needed.
How Do I Customize Audio Within a Project?
To add audio to your project click on the "Audios" tab located on the left-hand side of the Toonly interface. From there, select the audio you would like to include in the project and drag and drop it into the project area.
What Type of Audio Files Can Be Uploaded Into Toonly?
At this time, Toonly is compatible with mp3, wav, ogg, wma, flac, and aac file formats.
You can also select the input device for recording your voice which is located via the drop down menu under the voice over option in the app. There will also we a countdown timer to help you prepare and avoid unwanted noise.
