2 Corinthians 9:6-10
Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Therefore, let each one do as his own heart directs, without grudging or feeling compelled, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that, always having all sufficiency, you may abound in every good work, according to that which is written: He has scattered, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever. He who supplies seed to the sower will also provide bread for refreshment, and multiply the seed and increase the harvest of your righteousness.
John 12:24-26
Jesus said to his disciples: "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. Whoever loves their life loses it, and whoever hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. And whoever desires to serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there will my servant be also. And whoever serves me, him my Father will honor."
