In this video we explore time saving technique for rigid body's called the "up-res". This method shifts the emphasis of the FX artist towards the movement of the lightweight, fast-to-iterate proxy simulation.

This is different from the standard proxy to high res workflow commonly promoted by SideFX, as we will take the simulation through a second round of high-res fracturing and simulation after the base sim.

This means we can simulate an incredibly low number of pieces as a base sim and blitz through a huge amount of versions, making it very easy to address notes and get the overall "feel" of the sim right before piping it into a high res sim that will become the render product.
