How to create a pattern in Gravit Designer. Chevron pattern design tutorial
In this tutorial, you will learn an entire approach of a pattern making in Gravit Designer. Following this step by step technique, you will be able to create almost any pattern, no matter how complicated and intricate it is. In my video tutorial, I'm first giving you the essential four steps of the pattern creation, then I am focusing particularly on the chevron pattern, as one of the most basic and on-demand patterns in the graphic design industry.
Every pattern starts with a single object. In Gravit Designer, anything that you are able to create, import or grab from the library can be repeated within the pattern. Gravit Designer allows you to make patterns from:
1. Your custom artwork made in Gravit
2. Imported vector files (you can import .SVG, .EPS, .SKETCH file formats)
3. Raster files, bitmaps, and photos
