This year at its fourth edition, the Cavalcade is a special event organized directly by Ferrari to give the possibility to its most important members to drive all the brand new Ferraris on the wonderful scenary of the italian roads. This Gran Turismo event is reserved to the most important owners from all over the world, and to take part at the Cavalcade you need to have 5 different Ferraris in your garage.
The Ferrari Cavalcade 2015 was held in the eternal city, Rome, touching the most beautiful places of the world driving across the "Castelli Romani", the Colosso, the Ara Pacis, Vatican City and having an experience on the famous race track of Autodromo Vallelunga, one of the hardest italian circuit.
More than 100 of most imressive Ferraris crew, including the new ONE-OFF Ferrari F12 TRS, 15 Ferrari LaFerrari, the brand new Ferrari 488 GTB and several other Ferraris joined the 4th edition, enjoying the "Capitale" and other beautiful cities as well Orvieto, Assisi, Perugia, Castel Gandolfo in the center of the european history.
In this video a stunning Giallo Modena yellow Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M with german driving licence plate takes part at the event giving me the possibility to film it in each detail like rims, engine, interior, the logo of the "Cavallino".
The Ferrari 430 Scuderia is a Limited Edition sports car based on the Ferrari F430 and produced by the italian manufacturer of Maranello, Italy since 2007 being the successor of the Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale.
It's name is an tribute to the Prancing Horse, historical emblem of the Ferrari, and indeed "Scuderia" means STABLE OF HORSES in italian.
The car was unveiled for the first time at the 2007 Fankfurt Auto Show by Michael Schumacher and is the answer to the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera and to the Porsche 997 RS.
The Ferrari 430 Scuderia is 100 Kg lighter than a normal F430 mounting the its same 4.3 litre V8 Engine, which now develops 510 hp. Increased power comes from a revised intake, exhaust, and an ion-sensing knock-detection system that allows for a higher compression ratio.
Thus the weight-to-power ratio is reduced from 2.96 kg/hp to 2.5 kg/hp. In addition to the weight saving measures, the Scuderia semi-automatic transmission gained improved "Superfast" software for faster 60 millisecond shift-times.
A new traction control system combined the F1-Trac traction and stability control with the E-Diff electronic differential.
The performance are worthy of its rivals, with less than 3,6 seconds from 0-100 Km/h for a final top speed of over 325 Km/h, enough to drive around the Fiorano Circuit in similar times of a Ferrari Enzo or a Ferrari 458 Italia.
In the 2008 was unveiled a cabriolet version also, named Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M (only 499 made) to commemorate the 16th Ferrari's victory in the Formula 1 Constructor's World Championship.
The Ferrari 430 Scuderia was produced in 1.200 units and was replaced by the Ferrari 458 Speciale in 2013.
