Our adventure begins on the **Cottonwood Lakes Trail**, a popular route among hikers. After securing a permit for the **Cottonwood Pass trailhead**, I set off on my 4-day trek. My first camp was above 10,000 feet, nestled near a meadow with vibrant wildflowers, playful yellow-bellied marmots, and the soothing **Cottonwood Creek**.
*Experience the tranquility of nature* as we hike through lush forests, cross adventurous bridges, and encounter incredible Sierra Nevada wildlife. This adventure is packed with breathtaking moments from sunrise to sunset.

Continuing the journey, I pressed on to my second camp, deeper into the beautiful Cottonwood region. Looming rain finally forced me to stop and cover my gear.
