Nothing stays fresh-from-the-box forever 🫶🏻
There's a lot of pressure and fear of judgement around wearing clothes that show signs of wear. We are so obsessed with newness, that we try to keep up with the unrealistic "just-unboxed-this" standards that we see on social media.
And look, as someone who enjoys pretty things I GET IT. A brand new makeup palette that hasn't hit pan yet looks far more aesthetic than its messy looking counterpart. But guess what: it's what is REAL. And frankly, I enjoy seeing what's realistic too.
I'm not here to judge, but there's a difference between something being worn and worn out. If anything let this post serve as a reminder that you are good enough and your shoes don't have to look spanking new to make it to your instagram feed. 🙋♀️
