Welcome to the ultimate guide for fan editing.
I remember struggling a lot when I first got started editing, so I hope this helps someone who has maybe been a bit intimidated to start editing or has just been struggling a bit with resources. I also have gotten asked these questions quite a bit, so hopefully they help.
Q1: Where do I get HD Footage? 0:08 - 0:21
Q2: What program should I use? 0:22 - 0:29

Q5: How do I get clean audio (no background music)? 1:07 - 1:19
Check Twitter and Instagram for logoless HD Footage! Type in the usernames of the accounts I listed and follow them.
For colourings for Final Cut Pro, look up marystutorials on Youtube and BansheexTutorials (they have awesome colourings and tutorials on how to download them). Please make sure you credit people when you use their colouring! For some colourings, it will require an add-on program like Magic Bullet. There are tutorials on how to download Magic Bullet for free (Youtube is your friend!)
For colourings for Sony Vegas Pro, just look up ‘svp coloring’ on Youtube. I promise, lots will come up.
To download Final Cut Pro or Sony Vegas, you DON’T need to pay. Look up how to download them for free, it can take some trial and error.

TOP 5 TIPS:
Listen to the song you’re using, follow the music.
Use good quality clips and make sure your project is set to 1080p.
Experiment, play around with the software you’re using.
Lots of trial and error! Watch it back and change stuff if you don’t like it. You’re not always going to get it right the first time.
Vid stuff that you’re passionate about. Make videos based on what you love, not what you think people want to see/what is relevant! Fandom comes from the heart.
