I Became a Princess for 4 Days (It Healed Me)
Remember being a kid and someone asking what you wanted to be when you grew up? I would always give the answer of Princess! This year, I finally took the massive leap and made it happen!
Growing up, I have always been fascinated with Disney princesses as well as the annual Renaissance faire! I vividly remember renting a cute pink princess costume with a pink hennin that my parents had to stuff with tissue paper to keep it from falling. This project pulled from all of that love and experience. I hope you can feel the love in this one!
This is some of the story of how I spent 4 beautiful days filming inside a dreamy private castle to bring Princess Catstaxy to life, starting with a chaotic first night, then going into reading 187 individual scripts across 8 different outfits in 2 days, finally the quiet, unexpected emotional moments on the final days that taught me more about how meaningful this journey is than I expected.
