Guild Wars on a 13.3 inch Macbook Pro
Apologies for the shaky camera (used my phone), though I noticed that there was a lack of videos showing Guild Wars running on a Macbook Pro.
The game runs perfectly, and any skips is the phone being silly.
I'm using a unibody Macbook Pro (13 inch 2010 model), which was bought just last week through my uni discount.
I'm using CrossOver, which was very easy to use. Simply choose to install a program (after opening CrossOver, from it's menu), and choose Guild Wars from the supported applications list.
From there, it's a simple matter of choosing an install folder, file, or having CrossOver download the necessary files for the installer (taken from the Guild Wars website - which is what I had done).
If you choose to download the installer, after you have selected your character the game will take some time to download the necessary files for that campaign - so you might want to grab a coffee, or something.
I'm running the game at a resolution of 1280x800 (max res. for the Macbook Pro 13").
All settings are set to High (except for Shadows, which is set to Medium).
Anti-Aliasing is off.
I haven't come across any problems just yet, and on this character I've started in the Factions campaign, and have recently travelled to Kaineng (about to start a mission in the video).
