Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
Earlier this year our grandparents bought us the Ewok Village set with one requirement, we had to include it in a film. Being smart enough not to turn down the offer we gladly accepted. Days started to pass by, then weeks, and soon months. Life just got busy. We had started work on one film featuring the set, but it wasn't turning out very good and so last week we decided to scrap it entirely. Instead Andrew quickly came up with an idea that could combine the Ewok set and The Hobbit, all while poking a little fun at the "extra" elves in The Hobbit film, The Desolation of Smaug. A few days ago he started filming and in just a short while this film was produced. I hope you enjoy it and have a Merry Christmas! We realize there are quite a bit of credits at the end. We normally wouldn't normally make them that long for so short a film, but we really wanted to let the song finish (O, Holy Night) and we figured that it would be better to fill the time than have a black screen. An alternative ending could be at 1:28.
