"Celestica" was premiered by BBC Radio 1 on
April 15, 2010, although instead of playing the final mix of the Single Version' of Celestica that was intended for release, they were accidentally sent the unfinished file by Crystal Castles' management and premiered the demo mix of the 'Single Version' on air.
The mixed and mastered 'Single Version' of Celestica was digitally released as a single a day later through Polydor.
The single version of Celestica was pushed by their label and was mixed by Cenzo Townshend, the album version was left unmixed with mixing done only by Ethan Kath.
