JAM is an impromptu public speaking club operated through the Ohio State University's Fisher College of Business. Open to all majors, JAM provides members with a fun, friendly and informal environment to practice their public speaking on a weekly basis. The way JAM works is simple: each speaker is given a random topic and 30 seconds to think about it, and then they have to speak about the topic for Just A Minute. They are then given constructive feedback by members of the club.
JAM's weekly meetings also focus on a different kind of topic each time to prepare members for a variety of public speaking situations. These focuses include but are not limited to: debates, funny improv speeches, social-themed topics, and interview preparation.
