Sega CD Model 1 Laser Limiter Switch Repair
So hopefully now my other SCD Model 1 will be trouble free....
I'm starting to see what people mean when they say these systems are unreliable. Hopefully repairing the switch will be the last of the repairs needed for this system.
I paid $20 for this particular system so I'm not really disappointed. I mean people try to sell these all the time for $150 in the same condition untested. Or they just assume the console is okay because it works. However this one worked to when I replaced the belt. But it wasn't until I had put a few hours on it that the switch issue began to show itself.
Never would I buy one of these untested for $150 lol. That's just throwing money away.
