(Hong Kong) In November, 2020, eight pan-democrats were arrested over a Legislative Council meeting where opposing legislators clashed over control of the House Committee, which decides when to present bills for a final vote. Hong Kong's police force said they had looked into the actions of both sides, despite the fact that no pro-establishment lawmakers were arrested over the incident. During the interview, the then police chief Chris Tang, who currently is the secretary for security, rejected accusations of political prosecution.
