How Did I Get a Fungal Infection in My Brain & What is Candida Parapsilosis. Life with a Vent
Recently, I was very sick and in the hospital with sepsis. My blood cultures came back as positive for the fungus called Candida parapsiosis. In addition to being in my blood, the Candida parapsilosis was also found in my brain and caused a brain infection.
