RecoMadeEasy ® Recognition Technologies Face Detection and Recognition
This demo demonstrates the enrollment capability of the RecoMadeEasy ® Face Recognition engine of Recognition Technologies, Inc. This is one of many modes in which this engine operates. Other modes include speaker recognition, speech recognition (transcription), emotion detection, and object detection. In this demo, we start with a blank account where no faces have been enrolled. Then we run the engine for this account and a short video of Football (Soccer) highlights. We see that faces are detected according to the face detection threshold, but since there is no enrolled face in the database, no person is recognized and rectangles show the locations of the faces. Then we enroll 3 stock still images for each player and show the enrollment process. After the enrollment, we show the newly populated database which includes 37 football plays (including the coach). After the enrollment we run the engine for this account again on the same video. In run, after the enrollment, any face which is recognizable based on the enrolled data is tagged with the name of the individual as well as the matching score (0-100%). Any face that is detected by the engine, but not recognizable according to the set thresholds for the score, is not given any label.
