Ice formation in Evaporator coil is common problem in Refrigeration system. it could be many reasons for that so we need to identify the actual reason for that.

Ice formation on a cold room evaporator can occur for several reasons:

1. *High Humidity:* Excess moisture in the air can lead to condensation on the evaporator coils, which then freezes.

2. *Defrost Cycle Issues:* If the defrost cycle is not working properly, ice can build up over time. This can happen due to a faulty defrost timer, heater, or sensor.

3. *Airflow Problems:* Poor airflow over the evaporator coils can cause uneven cooling and ice formation. This can be due to a dirty evaporator coil, blocked vents, or a malfunctioning fan.

4. *Low Refrigerant Levels:* Low refrigerant can cause the evaporator coil to operate at a lower temperature than normal, leading to ice formation.

5. *Frequent Door Openings:* Frequent opening and closing of the cold room door can allow warm, humid air to enter, which then condenses and freezes on the evaporator coils.

6. *Insufficient Insulation:* Poor insulation can allow warm air to enter the cold room, increasing humidity and leading to ice formation.

Addressing these issues typically involves checking and maintaining the defrost system, ensuring proper airflow, managing humidity levels, and maintaining adequate refrigerant levels.

in this video we are going to study how to resolve this issue
