We have simple calculators on the market, invaluable for tests, quizzes, etc., we have scientific calculators that meet most people's needs, and... we also have the "ASS" – a machine I designed solely because I'm tired of constantly, routinely calculating relatively simple things automatically. The presented "ASS" can (*) or will soon be able to (x):
Search for and log into WiFi access points
Check access point parameters (MAC, Channels, etc.)
Connect to websites
x Interpret HTML, load simple pages
x Perform matrix operations (transpose, inverse matrix, multiplication, addition, subtraction, etc.)
x Draw graphs of given functions, including cyclometric and trigonometric functions
x Basic operations in mathematical analysis, algebra, and logic
x TinyBasic or DOS emulation, execution of BAT and BAS scripts, debugging, and algorithm complexity testing
x Read/write to SD cards up to 4GB in FAT format, file operations
x Ready-made spreadsheets for calculating physical and mathematical values (e.g., current, voltage, frequency, inductance, etc.)
x Converting between numerical systems HEX/BIN/OCT/DEC, Z1, U2...
x Pretending to be a regular calculator
I'll do my best to finish this project. If you're wondering how I'll fit all this functionality in, I'll just add that the MCU shown has 4MB of Flash, and so far the current "system" takes up very little, and is written carelessly and redundantly. Once rewritten into pure C, it will be able to do even more and even faster.
