An easy to follow, step by step guide on how to root your Amazon Fire TV 2. This method will work on all software versions up to and including 5.2.1.1. In this guide we root the Fire TV with KingRoot initially and then use the TWRP Recovery console to install a clean pre-rooted image by rbox.
