In this Spark AR Studio video AR creator's tutorial, we'll create a unique animation using only the Patch Editor, alongside position and rotation data from the FaceTracker, and DELAY, UNPACK, and PACK patches.

We'll have three spheres moving alongside the head of the user with a slight delay (slightly after the head rotates and moves).

It's a simple tutorial that gives you some basics of other patches that you might not yet familiar with and you can see how you can use them to create an interesting animation which you can use in your own Instagram and Facebook effects, filters and AR masks.

In this video, I explain what the 'To Script' and 'From Script' features are for in Spark AR Studio when creating Instagram/Facebook effect, and how we can use them to exchange data between scripting files (in Javascript) and the Patch Editor.

These can be values like pulse events, numerical values, text, vector, and vector values. Enjoy this dev guide, more coming soon.

A simple tutorial with some funny results that will make you play more with those two options.
