A group of young geologists hire a desperate young woman guide to take them to a mysterious mining town that caught fire many years ago and is now unmarked on maps. Lost, the group asks the locals for directions, but they advise them to leave while they can and even begin to pursue the intruders. Despite this, the geologists eventually find a road hidden in the forest and an abandoned town surrounded by an electrified fence, and within the perimeter, strange holes in the ground.
