In this video, we'll cover three tool updates, one cross-tool update, and four general updates that will enhance your experience with Ahrefs.
Let’s start with Site Explorer. We have four updates here:
► The Referring domains calendar allows you to visualize daily changes in new and lost referring domains.
► The Inspect column in all link-related reports lets you view the source code of links and compare how they changed over time.
► The new Page text tab in Inspect panels also lets you compare text content changes over time.
► The Homepage links filter helps you to find and exclude backlinks from homepages from your results.
Next, we have one cross-tool update in the SERP overview tables in Site Explorer and Keywords Explorer.
A new option in the Open in menu allows you to compare results by selecting multiple targets from SERP overview tables. This function is also available for the Organic competitors report.
Next is Site Audit. We have a few updates here:
► We’ve added a new Structured data section in URL details that identifies structured data on the page and shows you validation errors based on schema.org guidelines.
► We've also added a new issue in All issues for validation errors with Schema. Click on the question mark to learn more about fixing a problem.
► Additionally, we’ve added fields for structured data properties and their values to Page Explorer, allowing you to build queries with them.
Moving on to Content Explorer. Here, we've added the URL rating metric. Click on it to see a trend chart in the history tab.
We also have four General updates:
► Improved search traffic estimations: We've updated our database to provide more accurate traffic estimates.
► APIv3 updates: Non-Enterprise plan users can now enjoy free test queries, and we've introduced a Matching terms report endpoint and the ability to limit API usage for Enterprise plan users.
► Pay-as-you-go charge control: Workspace owners and admins can now limit and disable pay-as-you-go usage.
► Improved credits counter: Hover over the usage level chart in the main header for more information.
