I built the classic Snake game using Free Pascal and the Lazarus IDE — no game engine, no third-party libraries. Just a timer, a canvas, and 16 sprites.

In this video I walk through every part of the code: how the asset system works, how the snake movement and collision logic is structured, and the corner sprite rendering system that makes the snake actually look right when it turns.
