The arming process of a Chinese cataphract of the Jin Dynasty of the 12th century - which means our man is probably a Jurchen rather than a Chinese. Jin cataphracts were nicknamed 'Iron Pagoda' or 'Iron Buddha', which gives a pretty poetic picture of how imposing they must've looked in the field. The lamellar was a pain to draw but I like how it turned out.
