Older music software and synthesizers are often built for less-expressive MIDI controllers than the Jamstik and may get confused by the signal the Jamstik puts out. To remedy this, the Jamstik Studio MIDI Guitar can easily switch to a legacy MIDI mode to have full compatibility with these pieces of software and hardware.

To switch your MIDI mode, you can either:
1. Access the Studio Dashboard at play.jamstik.com, and switch your MIDI Mode from MPE to Single Channel mode and turn off Expression Tracking Send. You may also want to turn off Pitch Bend.
2. You can also switch your settings using the Jamstik Creator Plugin. Click "Device Settings" on the top bar, then under MIDI settings switch your MIDI Mode from MPE to Single Channel mode, and turn off Expression Tracking and Pitch Bend.
