Kherson Museum during the war: what was lost and what was saved?
Kherson Museum of Local Lore is one of the oldest buildings in the city.
During the occupation, the Russians stole over 23 thousand exhibits, and after the de-occupation, they destroyed the museum with shelling.
Despite the destruction, the workers saved over 165 thousand exhibits and continue to protect the cultural heritage of their region.
