The cat lived in a car service center and got hit by a car. We decided to cure her together. Having got to an unfamiliar place, she immediately began to explore the apartment. She drags her hind legs behind her.
The cat is two years old. She got injured. The injury is below the neck, on top.
The animal was examined by a veterinarian. An ultrasound was done. The veterinarian's prognosis is favorable. The internal organs are not damaged.
As best we can, we massage her hind legs.
We massaged her hind legs several times at a veterinary clinic.
The cat's hind legs are like ropes - she crawls. But the cat walked around all the rooms, sniffed everything and checked everything. These animals always consider themselves the main ones in the house.
We bathed the cat. The cat is not accustomed to bathing, so she tried to break free. During the bath, the cat leaned heavily on her hind legs. In a stressful situation, the hind legs work. That is, the problem is in fear, and not in damage to the spine or limbs
The animal has an excellent appetite. Despite the injury, she eats everything that is given to her. This is a good sign. And her nose is wet, which is also good.
Games help to restore the animal's health. The cat likes everything that moves.
A month after the injury, the cat tries to stand on its feet. She no longer drags her hind legs behind her, but tries to move them.
A month and a half after the injury, the cat stands on all fours, but often falls.
And sits well on her hind legs, she already controls them.
When moving, the back of the body is sometimes stable, sometimes shifts to the left, then to the right. The cat sways from side to side.
During games, it often stands on its hind legs. Cats are excellent hunters. The animal does not get tired, catches the toy with both paws and teeth.
The animal tries to jump. Sometimes the cat jumps and falls, but immediately gets up again. The excitement of the hunt is very great. Every day she gets better and better at standing on all her paws. Cats are very strong and resilient.
2 months after the injury, the cat confidently stood on all four paws.
