How to Make FC 26 Career Mode Brutally Difficult
The difficulty settings in career mode are absolutely crazy. If you meet the board objectives strictly, then you're almost guaranteed to get sacked in the first six months. If you turn off the academy, then you're relying on the AI to actually develop wonderkids. If you just put the match difficulty up, then you might be getting pummeled 6–0 every game.
But there are some ways to use features in different ways that make the game more difficult, so I thought I would compile about six of them into one video so that you can make your career mode more difficult without having to make it broken. Let's start with a big one, and one that I think a lot of people do without realizing what it is actually doing to their save.
So, there is one button in career mode that will ruin every single career mode you ever do if you press it. Not just the match you're in, not just the save you're playing, but every single save that follows this one will be ruined. I know this because I used to use it. It takes years to recover, but once you do, you realise how much damage you were doing by pressing it.
