Secret Service Director resigns after attempted assassination of Donald Trump
Several lawmakers on Tuesday cheered the resignation of former Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle following her disastrous testimony before the House Oversight Committee.
Both Republicans and Democrats called for Cheatle to resign after she admitted Monday that the near-assassination of former President Donald Trump was "the most significant operational failure of the Secret Service in decades."
