In this video, we will be showing you how to download and start up a Nagios Network Analyzer Virtual Machine Image, using Vmware Player.

To begin with you simply navigate to the nagios.com website, using the browser of your choice. Then, navigate to products, then Nagios Network Analyzer try it.

Then click on the Download Nagios Network Analyzer button. If you would like to provide simple contact information, we can have a representative get in contact with you to show you how Nagios Network Analyzer can meet your netflow data analysis and management needs.

On the downloads page, we will click on the latest vmware virtual machine image. You can select either 32 bit or 64 bit.

Once you have downloaded the VM image, you will need to unzip using an application, such as 7zip. Once unzipped, start the Vmware application, which is available free of charge, from the Vmware team. Once the player is open, click open a Virtual Machine. And then select your newly downloaded Nagios Network Analyzer Machine

Next, select start Virtual Machine. When prompted, make sure to select, I copied the Vm

The Nagios Network Analyzer VM will now boot up. Once the VM has booted up, we will be given a command line interface from which we can find the address of the Network Analyzer server as well as the default root password.
