As part of my how to garden in cold climates series - I'm going to try starting some ornamental grasses from seed indoors. The pampas grass is has beautiful pink heads that will make a great addition to my outdoor containers. If you live in a cold climate, starting seeds indoors is a great way to get a jumpstart on your outdoor garden.
