Groups now have explicit sizes. By default, group size is automatically defined to be the dimensions of all the objects within the group at their current positions (current position is controlled by the timeline playhead). Camtasia refers to the default size as Visible Dimensions in the UI.
The bounding box of a group serves as a clipping mask--elements inside a group that extend beyond the explicitly defined bounds will not be visible.
Supported projects from previous versions of Camtasia are automatically upgraded when opened and group sizes are assigned. This upgrade accounts for any visual effect that would otherwise be cut off (e.g. Glows and Drop Shadows).
