Fix Washed Out Videos Quick in Davinci Resolve!
This is a quick fix to washed out videos for Mac Users in DaVinci Resolve. Make sure you choose Rec. 709-A as your Output Gamma in Project Setting, choose Rec. 709-A in your final CST (Color Space Transform node) if you have any. And in Export Setting, make sure you select Rec. 709-A as your gamma tag. Then your uploaded youtube videos should look normal and not color shifted.
Also make sure in DaVinci Resolve preference, choose use Mac Display for viewing. And always check your waveform and make sure where your black/ low end is.
Output gamma affects brightness, contrast, and color accuracy on different screens. So choosing the correct gamma is essential to present your creative vision to audiences.

Gamma 2.2 is a common gamma curve used in various multimedia applications and is the standard for most consumer electronic devices. It is supposed to provide a balance between brightness and contrast, making it suitable for general viewing environments
