Record desktop using VLC media player
Here is how to record your screen using VLC media player in a few very easy simple steps.
1 Media then Stream
2 new window Capture Device then Desktop
Desired frame rate: 30
You're ready to go!
3. click on Stream
4. new window check source is screen://
5. click Next
6. new window click Add next to New destination dropdown should have selected File
7. new window click Browse
8. add destination file e.g. test.mp4
9. click Stream to start recording!
10. repeat & enjoy
