The Maya Toolbelt by Michael McKinley
This is my first Patreon-funded Personal Client video! I want to thank and credit Ivan as Executive Producer of this video, as it was his generous contribution that sparked this video's creation, as well as a few others on the channel!
Ivan specifically wanted to know how to create some relatively complex shapes with NURBS that were relatively easily made in a program called Rhino but was difficult to do in Maya. Truth is, it IS more difficult in Maya, simply due to Rhino being a very NURBS-forward program with a lot more NURBS-friendly functionality than Maya has (in my opinion).
In this video, I describe how I would go about creating the shapes he was looking for using Maya's more rudimentary NURBS toolset. I hope Ivan enjoys the video, as well as others once it goes public!
