In this video, we are on-site with Troy Clark from RLC Equipment & Repair LLC as he walks us through the ongoing scrapping and parting out process of a large 200-ton class American 9520 truck crane.

This heavy-duty lattice boom crane is part of the American Crane 900 series, designed for major lifting operations in construction, industrial, and infrastructure projects. Machines like this were commonly used for steel erection, large-scale rigging, and heavy lifting applications across major job sites.

Although these cranes are no longer in production, they are still well known in the industry for their durability and lifting capacity, making them valuable for both parts recovery and scrap operations.

Troy Clark, based between Houston and Beaumont, Texas, explains the current stage of the teardown process, what components are being removed, and how the machine is being broken down and processed.
