Make Vegas Pro run faster by defaulting to a "High Priority" process in Windows
This tip will allow you to open Vegas Pro as a "High Priority" process by default.
This also applies to starting a program in below normal and low. Some Vegas users render in either so they can use other applications as the same time.
Results will vary with this please let us know what you find in the comments.
Granted this is not the answer to all of your problems. But if you're running other processes at the same time you can give a program a little bit of an edge.
